UT 69 is the story of Raj Kundra‘s time in jail and he plays himself in the film. The director uses a light-hearted approach and that prevents the film from becoming dark. The initial scenes are interesting, especially how life in jail is. Such a detailed depiction has never been seen before. However, there’s no story and it gets on one’s nerves. The makers chose to skip details about the court case and whether or not Raj Kundra is guilty. After a point, one gets a feeling that he has settled in jail and is having a relaxed time. Raj Kundra‘s acting is okay. Mahadev Jadhav (Inspector Mahadev Dandekar), Kumar Saurabh (Ashraf), Mahesh Ghag (Jacob), Vinod Suryavanshi (Gollu), Anand Alkunute (Inspector Prasad Sutar) and Vishal Inamdar (Jailer) do well. All in all, UT 69 is not worth watching.
