Love Again is a Hollywood romcom featuring Priyanka Chopra as the female lead. This is a nice, heartwarming film with a lovely plot and some fine moments that keep the interest going. The storyline is a bit novel, especially the circumstances due to which the protagonists meet. The track of the woman grieving the loss of her boyfriend is sensitively handled and touching. On the flipside, after a point, there’s nothing new and the finale is predictable, as expected. More than that, the ending could have been more impactful. The overall film also gives a strong déjà vu of Jhootha Hi Sahi. Lastly, some of the plot points of the film are difficult to digest in the era of Truecaller. Speaking of performances, Priyanka Chopra delivers a very sweet and first-rate performance. It’s good to see her handle the part of the leading Hollywood heroine in a movie so well. Sam Heughan is likeable and his chemistry with Priyanka is sweet. Sofia Barclay (Suzy), Arinzé Kene (John Wright), Steve Oram (Richard Hughes; boss), Lydia West (Liza) and Russell Tovey (Billy) are decent. Celine Dion plays herself in a supporting role and she adds a lot to the film. Lastly, Nick Jonas is funny. All in all, Love Again is worth watching for its feel good moments and of course, Priyanka Chopra.
