(Crisp) Movie Review: FLIGHT RISK by FENIL SETA

Flight Risk, which has released today in cinemas, is an aerial survival drama. The plot is quite arresting and moreover, it’s directed by Mel Gibson. It’s only 90 minutes long and moves at a great pace. In some scenes, the tension levels rise significantly. On the flipside, the film gets silly in the second half. It’s shocking how the writer couldn’t think of better plot points. The villain doesn’t have much to do after a point. Lastly, there are no subtitles and hence, some dialogues are difficult to comprehend. Mark Wahlberg is superb in his first negative role. Michelle Dockery manages to leave a mark. Topher Grace raises laughs and later on, gets the serious act right. All in all, Flight Risk is a good timepass entertainer.
