Bhaiaji Superhit is a terrible flick and the fact that it got delayed further adds to the mess. Besides continuity issues, the film also suffers from poor writing and direction. The director even takes the liberty of changing a ‘clean’ character into a chronic drug addict just for one particular sequence in the middle and then taking a U-turn in the next scene! The action scenes induce unintentional laughter and one particular shot in the climax involving Preity Zinta will make it to the list of trashy scenes list! Surprisingly, the characters are well thought of and had a lot of potential. In any other film, probably the ones directed by David Dhawan, they would have created a riot but here, they end up doing nothing special. This is particularly in the case of Preity Zinta. Her character had a lot of scope but is let down by the apology of a script. Performance-wise, she’s fine and same goes for Arshad Warsi. He’s the only one who raises genuine laughs. Sunny Deol does fine as always but to see him do back-to-back disasters like Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, Mohalla Assi and now Bhaiaji Superhit would surely be a big blow for the fans. Ameesha Patel proves she can still soar the temperatures and just requires the right kind of films. Shreyas Talpade is over the top. Jaideep Ahlawat genuinely tries to do a good job but again, there’s nothing much he can do when the film itself is so bad. Brijendra Kala is decent while Hemant Pandey (the guy who turns Charsi Bhai just for one scene), Amit Mistry, Mukul Dev, Pankaj Tripathi are all wasted. Needless to say, avoid!
