Aunty Ji, directed by Main Aur Mr Riight director Adeeb Rais, is quite a heartwarming short film. Starring Shabana Azmi and Anmol Rodriguez in the lead roles, it throws light on one day of their lives and their various struggles and reasons for happiness. The central character of Aunty Ji is quite endearing and the way she treats Geetika is sure to put a smile on one’s face. Adeeb Rais’s direction is simple and neat and same goes for his script. Dialogues are straight out of life and touching. Special mention should also go to Atharva Joshi’s background score – it gives a feel good, positive touch to the film. Shabana Azmi as always gives her 200% and shines! Anmol Rodriguez is also damn good and dialogue delivery is great. Akanksha Thakur (tattoo maker) is a stunner and leaves a mark. Mohit Hiranandani (tattoo maker) is natural. Do spare 19 minutes of your time to watch this lovely film!
